Terms of Service

1. Who we are
Bibles.Tools (the "Service") is provided by Bible Tools ("we", "us"). By using the Service you are entering into an agreement with Bible Tools.
2. Acceptance
By accessing or continuing to use the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. You must be of legal age in your country, or have a parent's or guardian's consent, and if you use the Service for an organisation you confirm you have authority to bind it.
3. The Service
Bibles.Tools is a Bible study application offering a Scripture reader, public-domain translations, original-language tools, notes, an AI study assistant, narration, music search and related features. Some features require a free account; others require a Premium subscription.
4. Your account
Provide accurate information and keep it up to date. Keep your login credentials confidential; you are responsible for activity under your account.
5. Acceptable use
You must not misuse the Service, including by:
- using it for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any law;
- fraud, spam, impersonation or harassment;
- infringing anyone's intellectual property or other rights;
- interfering with security — introducing malware, probing or scanning for vulnerabilities, scraping, or overloading the Service;
- reverse engineering, reselling or redistributing the Service, or circumventing usage limits;
- using the AI features to create illegal content, hate speech, deepfakes or malware, or attempting to bypass safeguards ("jailbreaking").
6. AI features
AI-generated answers and images may be inaccurate or incomplete. They are provided for study and reflection and are not professional, legal, medical or financial advice. You are responsible for your prompts, for verifying outputs, and for how you use them, and you must have the rights to any content you submit. We may remove or restrict content, refuse or filter outputs, and suspend accounts that break these Terms. Rights holders can report infringing content to support@bibles.tools; repeated infringement leads to account termination.
7. Intellectual property
Bible Tools owns the Service and its software, design, documentation and branding. Public-domain Bible texts remain in the public domain. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service within your plan. You keep ownership of content you create and grant us a limited licence to host and process it solely to provide the Service.
8. Payments and subscriptions
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
Payment, billing, taxes, renewals and cancellations are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. Premium renews automatically each month or year until cancelled; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. See our Refund Policy.
9. Service availability
We work to keep the Service reliable but do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. The Service is provided "as is", and to the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
10. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these Terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. When access ends you may request an export of your notes within 30 days, after which your data may be deleted.
11. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, consequential or special damages (including loss of profits, data or goodwill), and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury where the law does not allow it. You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your content, unlawful use, or breach of these Terms.
12. General
You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger or acquisition. We are not responsible for delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control. We may update these Terms and will post the new version here.
